Meet Dr. Malavika

Dr. Malavika is a pediatric dentist dedicated to providing comprehensive, child-centered oral healthcare from birth to 20 years of age. Her philosophy is simple—children deserve more than treatment for dental problems; they deserve care that identifies and address the underlying causes, helping them achieve healthy and functional oral development and lifelong confident smiles.

Her journey began at Vinayaka Mission's Sankarachariyar Dental College, where she discovered her passion for treating children. She later completed her Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at SRM Dental College, Kattankulathur, further strengthening her commitment to preventive and holistic pediatric dental care.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Malavika completed a Fellowship in Clinical Endodontics at ACCESS Institute, Chennai, accredited by MAHSA University, Malaysia. She has also completed a Basic Implantology Course at IADPE, Calicut, a Surgical Impaction Removal Course under Dr.Sahul's Academy, Madurai, and advanced training in Myofunctional Therapy at Prism Academy. These experiences have enabled her to look beyond symptoms and focus on the growth, function, and overall oral development of every child.

During her clinical practice at WeLittle Dental Clinics (Chennai & Coimbatore) and Chitra Dental Centre, Trivandrum Dr. Malavika realized that many childhood oral health concerns extend far beyond the teeth. This insight inspired her to adopt a holistic approach that emphasizes prevention, early intervention, parent education, and healthy oral habits from infancy.

As a proud native of Kanyakumari District, she founded Tuskaè – Centre for Pediatric & Comprehensive Dental Care in Kanyakumari with a vision to provide evidence-based pediatric dental care while creating greater awareness among parents and supporting families through every stage of a child's oral development. Her goal is to help every child grow into adulthood with the knowledge, habits, and confidence to maintain lifelong oral health.
